I drew a picture with this. If I can get it scanned in, I'll post it.

The year was almost at a close, and the library was full of fifth-year students studying for O.W.L.s and seventh years studying for N.E.W.T.s.
Neville was bent over a pile of books, furiously thumbing through the pages and occasionally mumbling to himself.
"No, that one won't work..."
"Hey, Neville!"
Neville jumped as Harry, Ron and Hermione sat down at the table with him. He blushed and closed his book.
"Whatcha studying?" Harry asked.
"Er, well..." Neville stammered, reaching around the table for his various books.
Ron picked up one of the books before Neville could get to it and glanced at the cover.
"This is herbology. What are you so nervous about, Neville? You always do great in herbology."
Neville blushed again. "I have to go talk to Professor Sprout," he said. He gathered his books and left the library.
He did need to see Professor Sprout -- just not at that moment. Mostly he just wanted to get away from Harry, Ron and Hermione -- especially Ron.
What kind of Gryffindor was he? He didn't feel an ounce of courage. He wanted to run away ... but this was something he needed to do. He headed toward Professor Sprout's office, twisting the fabric of his bag as he walked. Ten minutes later, he headed back to the Gryffindor common room with an order form from Snapdragon's Magical Plants in his bag.
**
Neville looked in the box again. It really was a beautiful flower. The many petals were blue and fuzzy. The stem was long and slender. And the whole thing had a kind of hazy glow surrounding it.
He could just leave it here in the common room with a note. Or maybe no note. He could be anonymous. No one would have to know.
"The Sorting Hat put me in Gryffindor," he said to himself. And that settled it.
Neville gathered up his courage and waited.
When Ginny came down from the girls' dormitory, he walked up to her and shyly handed her the flower without saying anything.
She blushed and smiled. "Oh, Neville, it's beautiful. Thank you."
