Fan Fic Awards

Before I continue with my post I would like to say that everyone is a good writer and that the people would decide and yes there can be two or three winners but I promise everyone will at least get an award if you don't think we should do this then just post saying I think we shouldn't do this without hurting feelings.

Your are invited to the Fan Fic Awards!. At the Fan fic awards you will enjoy a feast speeches and awards. Each person that preticipates and attends gets an award for different categorys. This year we will not do Best Fan Fic of the year because it would hurt to many feelings but we will have categorys like Best described characters, Best grammer,....etc. if you would like to nominate someone please post.

Well, I personally think its a bad idea, over the years we haven't had 'award ceremonies' because of what you said, people would get hurt, and will get hurt.

And "grammer" is spelled "grammar". ;)

I don't think it's a great idea, either, because you'd have to read all the stories to really be able to fairly vote, and while some of the slash stories may be well written, I won't read them.

I have no objections to other awards - so long as no-one takes them seriously

Well... I'm glad that I haven't submited my book then. I'd hate for everyone to have to read all 136 pages and I haven't even finnished it yet.
I don't know if it's PG either. It's has lots of adventures and one of the main characters dies. You wouldn't be able to find out about his real fate till volume 2.
Writing my book has been my hobby for the last year and a half.

Perhaps a panel of judges who would be willing to review each book and give a rating?

Or a poll stating: Rate My Book and people vote via the polls?
