I know we have had simmilar threads like this before but who cares!.
In my opinion Aaragorn. How can anyone not think he is hot. I mean he has the ruigged look that says I can seriously hurt you. And he also has a soft spot too whcih makes me :swoon: all over him. Whenever I see Aaragorn I just go "wow................." with long pauses. Especially when he is fighting at Helms Deep ohhhhhhhhhhhh. Anyway what do you think?

Ron Weasley is by far the most adorable written character ever! To bad I dont go to Hogwarts, but he is definatley the best of them all. :D I swoon for red hair what can I say?

When Colli finds out that I've already voted, and that there are no votes for Snape even though I have voted, she's gonna trout me... yes I looooove Severus and he is sexy... but Aragorn is just... oh my is he swoon-worthy beyond words... Yes yes yes... I am still loyal to our dear Severus... and I love Legolas... but Aragorn... *slowly dies after she :swoon:*

No one can beat Aaragorns manliness. He is just a amazing hot guy. So you can see my excitment when I got an Aaragorn ,Eowyn
Arwen poster. Now Aaragorn can protect me in my sleep.

I think maybe it's the lush blue eyes...
the feminine lips...
and the long hair and the braid...
yep, way too girly
Now Aragorn on the other hand...:o

Oh, poor Gimli... no one has voted for him... I wonder why. I mean, I always thought dwarves with exessive hair were rather attractive....

My sister Din and I just came back from the mall, we were arguing over who was better looking as we inspected the Legolas poster. She insists Legolas is by far the cutest. But I think it's Samwise Gamgee, of course there is no poster of him. I also think Aragorn is better then Legolas, legoloas to me is a good fighter, but too feminine or something. I really like Sam :D
Then we argue over HP characters, whose better; Draco or Ron. Now thats a tough one to answer....?

It's totally ok. :D

I saw The Borrowers in the theatre when it first came out!! Yep! Im very proud of that, I was nine and I was convinced there were little people in my walls!
Samwise he really is a wonderful character.
Looks may automatically be surveyed first in a man, but then you must look at their character. Usually it either makes them less attractive to you, or even more attractive. Even though he may not be "handsome" compared to others. Do you get what I'm saying? Legolas is cute, thats true, but Sam has a better character (or at least I think so) And that attracts me to him more then Legolas.
Yup Im weird I guess.
I choose this...

Over that

And that

ok well...thats debatable...ok thats a toughy
Which one would you choose???

I AGREE 100% the reasons thats why I like Sam so much and Aaragorn becasue they are amazing characters that whats really attractive. Thats why I don't like Legolas because you don't really know his character that well.
I hate when guys and girls think that looks will win a guy or girl over. I mean you can look nice but thats not the point because what happens when your guy or girl is 60! they won't be that hot anymore. I mean sometimes you can get divorced just because you were attracted to thier looks and not there personality. I mean I like Colin Firth becasue A. hes hot and B. He is a great responsible guy plus hes a great actor!!!!

Exactly! That makes them even less attractive. I mean, not that self assurance is bad but when your...over confident it's really not attractive. Some guys just flaunt it, because they figure most girls only go for looks not personality. The same with girls too(tries not to be one sided). That shows me the person is even worse, so what if their good looking? Are they a good person? Thats the big question i focus on.
Heres an example in track theres this boy who does polevaulting, and all the girls melt for him. At first i thought he was cute, but then I got to see how he acted sometimes and his attitude when he's with his friends. He really, to me, is not that attractive at all. Sorry bud! :D

C'mon! Girls always say personality comes first, but I'm not sure it's true. I think it's a close second. Or, rather, something that can't be done without, despite how hot the guy is! But maybe that's just me.:o

And thats cool, your entitled to an opinion too!
And in most cases, alot of girls see looks first. (I admitt sometimes I do it too)Unless its someone you talk to online, but thats rare right?
But ten to one, you see the looks and go from there!
WE all do it, I think it's human nature ???

Personality makes a bloke attrative. I mean I wouldnt have given Dominic Mohaghn a second look if I didnt own the fotr se dvd! Then I realised the lovliness of this Manchurian! :swoon:
Then of course, secondly comes, the looks or the sword :swoon: or even the wand ;) a nice one, well proportioned ;)
They must be funny, if they have no sense of humor.... Christ... Oh and the accent, the accent helps, then there's money... oh yeah... a man with money! :p

To amend my statement above:
Okay, personality is always #1, but I have to admit: looks are just easier to see than personality. Although personality is more important, it is true that people will be certain to find out more about an individuals personality if he/she is attractive. This might sound totally shallow, but it is true. And personality is totally what makes a person attractive too--a guy who everyone else thought was totally hot I thought was lacking because he had the I'm-the-man attitude I thought was totally ugly. A person seems more or less attractive to me (looks-wise and otherwise) based on their personality. You know how if you see someone beautiful that has a terrible attitude you sort of unconsciously accentuate their flaws in your mind?
All my posts today have been really incoherent and rambling. And random observation. :D

Isnt it odd? That Harry Potter fans seem to develop their own slang around other people. LOL! For example in gym class Quidditch comes up ::Chiana always brings up Quidditch when she doesn't want to play sports:::o
And then me and my friends start babbling in wizard slang;
"Quidditch!"
"Who has the Quaffle?!"
"I would be a seeker!"
"Really? I'd be a chaser"
"I want the club to knock the bludger with!"
other kids are really confused by this
"Whats a bludger?"
"Quidditch?"
Our reply since they cut into our convo is:
"Typical muggle"
yep its like our own little language!

Sure you've never been to Australia, Chiana? ;)
That may sound like a strange question, but let me explain!
I saw something today which has me a little bit worried! I was going to my lecture and I was just about to walk in the door when I glanced at the whiteboard outside. Know what it said?
The Chamber of Secrets has been opened... enemies of the heir, beware.
And then, below that:
Her skeleton will lie in the Chamber forever.
 :D  :D
There was even a little picture of a cat next to the first one.. poor Mrs. Norris!
So, you see, I'm understandably concerned! Apparently there is a Chamber of Secrets at my university and it's been opened!
I mean, I don't even know where the haunted bathroom is yet.. I'm way behind! :D

There's a group of girls in Eugene (the brainy class....teacher's pet class...the we're better then you class) speak Sindarin, or what ever its called. They're complete LotR obsessives :D But look down on everyone else because they're so so wonderful...
I talk Harry Potter to myself! I have my own little slang and world... Only two of my friends have read it, but they're not obsessed... The ones who are are in Eugene.... They dont talk to us lower breeds of human...

That is absolutely brilliant Xaz! Who ever the person was, they deserve a slap upon the back. And I shall do it tomorrow in band! Or wait...in the cafeteria!!! Yes, it'll get most of the attention there. We dont have a school bulletin board, though we need one. ::shruggs:: I'll find some place to put it by tomorrow, ohh! I'll paste it onto the auditorium door, since we're practicing for a concert.
::chiana taps her fingers together evilly as mr. Burns is so infamous for::
There are so many places to put it!!! As you can tell I'm sadly very excited about this...No WAIT!!!!!
....dramatic pause......
I shall put it on my backpack!!!!
Thats it!!!!
How triumphant!!!

3. Eowyn
4. Galadriel
5. Ginny
6. Other
If I was a guy I would choose Eowyn or Arwan Simply because they are complex
Complex? Nah. Main thing is that they look hot! Complex just leads to trouble. :D
Hmmm.... I don't really consider any of them particularly hot, actually. Arwen, Eowyn and Galadriel really didn't do it for me, and Hermoine and Ginny are a tad young. On cuteness though, I would have to go with Hermione: if she was older I would certainly choose her. :)

Hehehe, I think you know perfectly well who played her, doncha Amb? Eh? *nudge* ;) :D
I don't know if you're right, and I haven't seen the movie in a while, but from what I remember she WAS kinda cute: I'd probably vote for her over the other LotR girls. :)

Seems you put alot of thought into this Xaz ;)
I dont like the fact tht in the films Hermione is a cutie, because in the books she has the large front teeth and then she is downcast as "unattractive" until the fourth book. Watson is a great actress, not that I'm against her or anything, its just she's very pretty and that doesn't really fit the character. Do you get what Im trying to say? I dont want to come off like a men pretentious git ;)
Has noone voted for Ron?
Gah. Am I the only one who has voted for Draco???
He's second on my list of Hotties, and Felton is my age suprisingly enough (to me anyway):o

I agree with you about Hermoine actually, Chiana: she shouldn't really be as cute as she is the movies. I suppose it's a photogenic thing... they probably feel more glamourous looking types are better for publicity of the movie and whatnot. But we know the truth, eh? :)

Yes we do Xaz! LOL ;)
OR we could dress you up in robes and a frizzy brown wig and send you out onto the set :D ;)
But I guess we'll just have to make due with what they give us. Like they say, life gives you shredded skin of a boomslang, makes polyjuice potion. :D

Besides Lucius and Snape? That would be Oliver Wood, of course! But I think that may change after the next movie gets out. lith :swoon: for Sirius Black
Y'know, we still have to wait like a year for that to come out.:(

The person who plays Sirius is quite hot if I may say so.
I saw a picture of him in a website. I know what it is but Glae won't let me put it on the website
The person who plays Lupin I think looks totally different from the way I pictured him. I just hope he plays Lupin right or I'll be mad.
