This is the twin brother of the game being played over at CoE on the Angband board. Here are the rules... there are none! Well, there is one... you can't play the same way twice! You must declare a new rule (or zone) OUT LOUD! So... I hope there are some Calvin and Hobbes fans out here... cuz this is gonna get interesting...
Everyone carrys around a croquet stick and our Calvinball will be a volleyball like over at CoE... there are no rules on how to use them, but please remember this is a PG forum. ;) Since this is a Harry Potter forum, we'll play on the Quidditch pitch... until someone kicks us off it!! To score a goal, you've got to run between the poles holding the golden hoops, or send the Calvinball sailing through one of the hoops. I'll start...
Starting now, and until the Chamber of Secrets is opened once again (until April 11, when the CoS DVD comes out!) there can be NO magic performed on the field! That's my rule for the day... or days! This means, that the only way to score a goal is to run past the poles that hold up the hoops... *eyes the other players* This means NO DRAGONS... I can see the wheels spinning on that one!
*Ties a black eye mask around her head and skips out onto pitch, eyeing the golden hoops* Let the games begin... *StarGazr runs across the field towards the hoops, batting the Calvinball around on the field with her stick, waiting for her fellow playmates*
