I figured we could use a new thread for glaelia's plans. ;)

It was getting kinda off-topic in those other threads.... and since for now it pertains to the movie, i put it here. :D

So, glaelia and maybe others are going to stalk the set for PoA, how should she get in?

Take her cat and insist she get Crookshanks inside immediately?

Dress scytale up as Daniel Radcliffe and try to push past the guards?

Or simply wait around outside for Alan Rickman ( :swoon: ) to walk by, and then jump him just as he thinks he's safe?

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 04:51 PM
Alright, we have a whole thread to plan our scheme! Thanks colli :D...or was this just a ploy so you could get back to PoA changes? ;)

This is not some creepy stalker fling btw, we simply wish to make sure they are being accurate as they make the film. :)

Fleurdelacour
02-24-2003, 04:52 PM
We could all dress up as dementors and make Darth Vader sounds ;)

Or, ooh good idea. I want to be a costume designer, and maybe I could ask "I want to get the feel of a film set y'know, Mr Bodyguard sir, and I was wondering, well, for experience, maybe I could take a peeky-peek?"

Then again, he'd read through the lines, and kick us out...

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 04:55 PM
I'm always in for "stumbling" to a movie shoot ;)

Dress scytale up as Daniel Radcliffe and try to push past the guards?

Yay! We could do that... where is he anyway? Has he found a life? :( ;)

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:00 PM
I have created a mass rebellion against the inaccuracy of the Harry Potter movies.

There are tons of ways to get in, but maybe we could make it easier by already having friends on the inside...so does anyone know anyone in the cast? ;)

Colli
02-24-2003, 05:02 PM
lol who cares about the movie being accurate.. I just wanna meet Alan Rickman. ;)

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:03 PM
Sorry, nil friends among the cast - we could try e-mailing all the posers in the net who claim to be Dan or Tom... ;)

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:04 PM
well my sister is an actress... maybe i could get her to ask around to find out if anyone she knows is in it... or extras? we could all apply to be extras??? hmmmm... i'm going to look at the onine copy of The Stage newspaper....

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:06 PM
Too bad we're too old glae :(:( (for kids :o)

yeah, you ask your sister :p

So, when are we going? (Or we could just have meet and try to get in, I'm just bored here and want to get away from bangor... :o)

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:10 PM
That'd be a good idea, to ask you sister.

But like I said I'll just jump on my Nimbus 2000 for England and I"ll apply for a spot as an extra. Am I the only one here who is from the US, gosh it's soooo boring over here :(

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:12 PM
Ask Colli ;) The thread starter :p she's from US :p

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:14 PM
well, you should come stay with me elfea, when can you get away from bangor?? you should come and stay and we could spend a couple of days staking it out....

..... and that whole simba thing ... you know that might not be such a bad idea....

:p

i'm thinking hard.... it couldn't be so hard could it..... ????

EDIT: ah yes... but i'm the instigator.... and i'm from hertfordshire ;)

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:15 PM
Ah that would make sense as to why she said "have fun" :embarrassed: ;)

I still want to sneak in :D

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:17 PM
Glae - actually, next week or the week after are reading weeks... :p (first week, linquistics, so I have classes on Mon, Tue and Fri, second english, classes on Thur only... :D)

Simba thing? You mean the cat??

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:19 PM
ooh ooh, i don't understand when you're free. but you could come down anytime! i'm at uni wed and thurs... but only a few hours... you could visit cambridge with me if you come down those days! and it's easy to get time off work...... oooh ooh! come visit me! you know you want to :D :D

EDIT: yes i just had a conversation with my sister, she says leavesden in completely close set, so likelihood of getting on it is well... nil... but they have to come out to use the toilet! and get their lunch!!

yes the simba thing... my cat... i was tihnking we could bring simba... hold him up and go 'LOOK! i'm delivering crookshanks... let us in!!!'

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:25 PM
Yes that could work!! "WE have Crookshanks, so open up!"

My sister DinEdhelwen thinks we could kidnap a character and use them to get in, shes a dork. then we will get arrested ;)

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:28 PM
my sis, francesca, is going to try some snooping to see if she can figure out a non-get-arrested way.....

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:29 PM
Great! :D

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:43 PM
They seem really cool, have you ever been on their site? Their favorite game is a cow game of some sort, they seem really cool. not sure how old they are though.

Besides do you know how many people probably come up and ask if they can have a tour? Tons i bet.

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:45 PM
Yeah, but how many come from Finland??? :D

yeah, one for each of us glae..

haven't been on their site tho... COWS :jawdrop:

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:47 PM
they have a site??? wow, what is it?? lol, do they go cow-tipping??? my boyfriend did that in wales once... i'm ashamed to say i thought i was VERY funny....

Elfëa
02-24-2003, 05:54 PM
Cow tipping? Huh...

Now I have to go, but will return to our plans tomorrow ;)

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 05:54 PM
Well I cant recall their site, but my sister will remember. And it was cow fighting, not cow tipping. They do that here all the time, never actually seen it though....:)

glaelia
02-24-2003, 05:58 PM
LOL... find the site find the site! i wanna look!!!

ChianaWeasley
02-24-2003, 06:00 PM

glaelia
02-24-2003, 06:01 PM
quicker! quicker!

man... i may not be old... but i have a dirty mind....

Colli
02-24-2003, 06:45 PM
Chiana, why do you think the US is so boring? I rather like it here! I mean, living in Europe would rock, and Ohio isn't terribly exciting, but I'm moving to Florida in August and Tampa is like, my favorite city ever. :D Whereabouts do you live?

Stalking the set would be so much fun...

I'm trying to find the Phelps site, but that's a bit of a problem since I've never been there. ;)

(edit)

I found what's listed as the official site.. but it won't let me on. Says I'm not authorized, or something.

The different links I've found are:
http://www.oliver-phelps.com/
http://www.james-phelps.com/
Hey, did you know that they're both brunets and got their hair DYED red? It looks so natural..

But I found the cow thing, http://www.cowfighter.com/

glaelia
02-24-2003, 08:46 PM
nah, i couldn't get on to them either.... ah well... chiana? any luck??

Elfëa
02-25-2003, 04:50 AM
"You're not authorizised to view this page"...

What kind of links you're trying to put there Colli? ;)

Seriphus
02-25-2003, 08:19 AM
Wahay! Nice idea for a field trip. Shame I won't be down the road in Bucks 'til Easter time. :p

My IE closes down every time I try to open the cowfighter link. I dread to think what's on that site that the uni computers don't want me to see. ;) :)

glaelia
02-25-2003, 08:25 AM
colli ... just read your edit... i'm a brunette. but my hair colour is fairly strange, its got lots of colours in it, i've had it black, blonde and red before now and when visiting hairdressers all of them thought they were all my natural hair colour... i guess if your hairs non-descipt enough to start with any colour can look natural... ;)

ChianaWeasley
02-25-2003, 12:15 PM
I live in Pennsylvania colli, and i've only driven through Ohio, trust me it's probably more eventful then here. I grew up in amish courty pretty much, its a farming community mostly. Lancaster is a fairly average town, you know like the one where the aliens take over ;)

It's not that I think ALL of america is boring, its just I've never been anywhere exciting. When I graduate I want to go to Europe! and Explore! I really want to travel Ireland, maybe even live there. I've never been out of the country, and people who I've spoken to from europe seem really interesting. Everyone in Lancaster is...well BLAH.

Sorry about the delay on the site guys:) I told my sister about it, and she said she could find it for us. Patience is a virtue  its just I never use it :D So sit tight!

And humorously enough, their site is really well mapped out compared to everyone elses. I'm in art class right now:o so I can try to find it now, I dont feel like working. :D
My math class is full of delinquants, and kids with mittens pinned to their jackets!

Elfëa
02-25-2003, 02:16 PM
I've come up with a plan!

we'll dress up as teletubbies and try to pretend they're filming our show... :D

hehee... now I can open the link :D

Pengi
02-25-2003, 02:30 PM
I'm in!

I live in the UK too, so stalking sets is fine for me :D I definately like the teletubbies idea.

Colli
02-25-2003, 03:07 PM
If you dress up as teletubbies.. you'll probably scare them so much they'll let you through anywhere. ;)

Lala! Uh oh!

Elfëa
02-25-2003, 03:08 PM
I want to be the lila one, but I can't do man's voice... :(

DinEdhelwen
02-25-2003, 03:57 PM
 Those links are correct, they should work.... I just visited their site and it worked for me. Here's another link just in case:

http://www.james-phelps.com/

If that doesn't work, they're under the links section here:
http://www.seanbiggerstaff.com (http://www.seanbiggerstaff.com/)
:D

I would be a Teletubbie if it got me in to see Sean and Rupert!!;)

Colli
02-25-2003, 04:08 PM
That's odd... they're working fine for me now! They must have been updating or something yesterday. :D

Thanks

ChianaWeasley
02-25-2003, 08:59 PM
Teletubbies...thats a great idea! Or we could buy a bunch of coffees and insist we're the coffee wenches or what ever you call them..."assistants"...well miss.Piggy was one in Muppets in Space.

crickets sound as Chiana looks around at confused faces.

Anyway, faking we're somebody could work really well, but why would Telletubbies be in the same studio as Harry Potter filming?...

lithorose
02-26-2003, 12:53 AM
Because boggarts always assume the shape of our worst fears!;)

Elfëa
02-26-2003, 06:33 AM
And how does that turn me into a teletubby? Am I a boggart, huh?

ChianaWeasley
02-26-2003, 07:23 AM
Teletubbies are our worst fear ;) that and clowns....they make ya shudder shudders as promised Theyare the kind of things that chase you around your dreams in slowmotion. All creepy as they prance and giggle with their little purse shudders again

Maybe we can find another way in...we could hide in props or scenery, like in a cauldron. :D

stridersghirl
02-26-2003, 07:47 AM
I read in that Scotsman that :

"Children aged between eight and 14, who are being paid £35 a day to be extras on the Hogwarts Express. "

So we just have to look 14 and pay them £40 to let us go on instead, could be quite simple ;)

Elfëa
02-26-2003, 12:47 PM
Quick! Find me a way to get rid of these extra 6 years!!! :D

Fleurdelacour
02-26-2003, 03:04 PM
I really want to travel Ireland, maybe even live there

I'm Irish :D But it's a really boring place... REALLY boring... I was nearly bron in a red Mini because the nearest hopsital was Hollystreet Hospital in Dublin, and we lived in the Wicklow Mountains ;)

Children aged between eight and 14, who are being paid £35 a day to be extras on the Hogwarts Express. "

Oh, now I'm too old... Two years... Can't be that hard, I guess... Rid my self of two inches from my height and feet, and they're ya go ;)

(Edit)

Oh! I just remembered! :trout: My little brother, Shane, he turns nine tomorrow! He has brown hair and green eyes! He could be a mini-Harry! ;)

My little sister was thirteen last week! We could use her too! A Milicent Bulstrode maybe ;) Or a Pansy Parkinson!

DinEdhelwen
02-26-2003, 05:05 PM
14 huh? Hm... well I've never been so happy that I haven't grown at all since I was about 13! :D
I bet I could pass off for 14. Which means that CW could too, cuz everyone thinks that we're twins. :trout: Sure we're twins, twins that are 15 months apart!

ChianaWeasley
02-26-2003, 05:14 PM
I can pass as thirteen if I really try, now all we have to do is get over there. It can be our job, they school us during shooting anyway. :p

Ireland has to be more interesting then amish land Fleur, it has to be. begins to panic ;)

din, why did you have to go and tell them we're twins!

I want to accidently go into the "wrong" trailer.
Ruperts.
:swoon:

Elfëa
02-26-2003, 05:21 PM
Fleur - can we borrow your brother? ;)

Terry
02-26-2003, 07:20 PM
Well, I've lived in Central PA, born in Ohio, and lived in St. Pete, and I still find America interesting. Keep looking. You'll find your spot there eventually, Chiana.

Good luck getting on the set. I had a friend that crashed the set of the filming of the "Doors" with Val Kilmer. She wound up ON SCREEN (for about 5 seconds) with him singing to her. I've seen it. Miracles can happen.

glaelia
02-26-2003, 07:50 PM
woohoo! as ever filling us with hope terry!

Rivenlas
02-26-2003, 07:53 PM
Don't worry, everyone. I'll just ask my very close, personal friend Jason Isaacs to talk to the director.

ChianaWeasley
02-26-2003, 08:24 PM
I know this may sound dumb, but can you put a face with Issacs I'm horrible with names.

So if we run on the scene we'll be in the movie? COOL! :D

Terry, I must be in a rut, or else this whole town I live in is. I just want to see new places, and I just want to live in Europe. All there are is cows, and snow...we've got alot of snow lately

Well, we can just try running around frantically until we get on film. Or we could try the civil approach and just go up to the director and do this..."Can I be in your movie?please?please?please?please?please?please?pl ease?"

Terry
02-26-2003, 09:22 PM
Ah, well, yes there is a lot of cows and snow in central PA. That's true. But they're nice cows....oh nevermind. I know what you mean. Sure go to Europe, it's very grand. I'd suggest Northern Spain. It's extremely nice. Anyhoo.

Well, I wouldn't suggest running on the set and bumping into someone. My friend had a beautifully crafted (by herself) period costume piece on. By that I mean a hand-crafted beaded leather, fringed jacket. (This is the 60's we're talking about.) The set designers saw the jacket and asked her to stay on set. She wound up in the movie. So, you wanna be an extra, try harder to stand out, even if you're not supposed to be there. See what I mean?;)

Colli
02-26-2003, 09:58 PM
:D Chiana, check out Rivenlas' avatar... Isaacs is the drop dead gorgeous Scot who plays Lucius Malfoy. :D :swoon:

Elfëa
02-27-2003, 04:27 AM
WIZARDING ROBES!!!! :D

Fleurdelacour
02-27-2003, 02:53 PM
Take my brother! lol, he only needs feeding twice a day ;)

lol great idea Terry :D

ChianaWeasley
02-27-2003, 08:20 PM
 I want a set of Hogwarts clothing, especially that wonderful scarf you get at the beginning of the year. Oh!And the pointed cap that you get as well. :D

Ah...Lucius thanks Colli! :) I'm terrible with names, but if you can put a face with it, or a character I have a good memory. Especially for nice faces, LOL. j/k.

I want to make a hogwarts uniform, peice for peice. And then wear it to school, the small tie to the shoes. And the satchel ::sighs:: I think that would be wonderful. Though I'd either be made fun of, or cheered on by my fellow HP lovers.

But it would be worth it.
:D

Elfëa
02-28-2003, 06:29 AM
Even if I loff the movie uniforms, don't think that's what they're wearing in Hogwarts :p They don't wear Muggle clothes at all... only, perhaps, during holidays ;)

So. Plain robes. No trousers, ties, shirts underneath :p

Now... where is glae? Are we actually going to make this field trip or...? ;) :D

StarGazr
02-28-2003, 08:13 AM
I've gone through the posts, and have come up with a way to get fans (like myself) that are older than 13 into the set!! Yeah, we dress up real nice and pose as tutors! YEAH! We'd get access to Dan, Tom, Emma, and all those other adorable kids... plus we'd be on the set if someone like... oh say... Alan! were to talk by!! Think about it!!!!!

ChianaWeasley
02-28-2003, 08:24 AM
Gosh I wish I lived in England! Or...I could perhaps take an unknown vacation...hmmm....noone would know about it, well except you guys :) ::ponders::

Hogwarts here I come!
::crosses fingers::

glaelia
02-28-2003, 11:17 AM
i'm here i'm here! yes, we're still going!!! ROAD TRIP!!

so long as you're still coming down here!!

only place i can find cos on still for when you visit is at leicester square, so if we want to watch it we'll have to go into london. but that's okay cos it's on in the evening, so it's doable!

COMPLETE CHANGE OF PLAN! :D

OH MY GOD! READ READ READ!! I typed it up from my local newspaper!

South London Press Friday 28th February 2003

Harry’s Arch arrival by Peter Harrison

Harry Potter is coming to south London to film part of the latest chapter in the epic saga due for release next year.

Last-minute preparations were being made to a set under the railway bridge at Borough Market this week, for one of the scenes from the long awaited Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban is due to be shot next week.

Workmen were putting together a temporary brick doorway leading into premises underneath the bridge to be featured in the final production.

This is the latest in a series of film and television productions to be set in the south London location, which have featured Bridget Jones’ Diary, Lock, Stock, and Two smocking barrels and Entrapment which starred Bafta award winner Catherine Zeta Jones and Sean Connery.

In this film, the third of the series of JK Rowling’s popular Harry Potter books, the teenage wizard comes face-to-face with Sirius Black, an escapee of notorious prison for wizards.

Yet again young Harry’s life is put at risk by the followers of the evil wizard Voldermort, but fear not, the lad and his mates will undoubtedly save the day.

The part of Sirius Black is played by New Cross born actor Gary Oldman who was a student at the Rose Bruford College of Speech and Drama in Sidcup from 1976 to 1979

Timothy Spall, who lives in Honor Oak, is also appearing in the film as Peter Pettigrew.

And it seems the workmen are not new to the world of film, as painted along the ladder was the title of the most recent film, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Winifred Joseph, assistant financial controller of Borough Market, said “I can confirm that filming of the Harry Potter film will e taking place at the weekend on SUNDAY.
“The Third Hand Book Emporium is not one of our shops, that is something the film crew has created.”

I live so near there! And, I live next to Honor Oak where Timothy Spall lives!

SUNDAY! SUNDAY! Must get to the Market on Sunday! Should we move the field trip to then? ;)

glaelia

glaelia
02-28-2003, 02:47 PM

glaelia
02-28-2003, 05:19 PM

1) Sean

I don't know if you guys have seen this yet, but I posted some news on the front page (http://muggleinformer.net/) of the Muggle Informer about shooting locations in Palmers Green. Not being familiar with London, I don't know where that is (I assume it is in London  ), but I thought some of you Field Trippers might be interested. :D
